Professor at the Department of Social and Behavioural Sciences of the University Institute of Health Sciences, CESPU (Portugal). Doctorate was obtained at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Oviedo with the work: “Executive functioning in hepatic dysfunction. Evidences of prefrontal affectation in hepatic cirrhosis and hepatitis C (2006)”.

Medical neuropsychology, neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation, risk and resilience factors in cognitive aging are some of my current research interests.
